Brunch on a weekday
I had my monthly meeting (Zoom.. two recovering Covid members) today which meant I either had to get up early and make breakfast before the 8:30 meeting or eat after. I'm retired. The decision was easy.
One thing Noom does is have you try different patterns. I've been for most of my life (raised listening to Adele Davis on TV) pretty dedicated to eating breakfast. Noom convinced me to try different things and not be too hung up on routine that it inhibits enjoyment and experimentation.
I made an excellent brunch today using my new round 3" biscuit cutter to make biscuits. They came out with tilted tops which means I either overworked or underworked the dough. Or both. Biscuits are a freakin' mystery. But they rose and are delicious:
