So about $4400 later

I'll have a new car.
The oil pan is getting replaced. As are engine mounts and front break pads and brake fluid flush and coolant flush and two new rear tires. The car is in good shape. Original breaks and mounts and third set of tires is OK at 86K miles. I may even get wild and replace my speakers. It is not too hard to do. One of the original ones buzzes so it is blown. Replacing them is a half hour each side and is not too technical. Might do it one day. At the moment I mostly listen to my bone conduction headphones but it would be nice to have my radio back.
I hit my IRA for a few bucks rather than taking out an interest loan. Way cheaper and the reason I'm using Tiller and the budget is to spin up some routine monthly savings to put into investments. So hopefully I'll get the money back this year. AARP suggests pulling money and and putting it in a ROTH IRA so the short term earnings aren't taxed. I'm noodling this around in my head and think that might be a good way to go.
Talks with Schwab to follow.
