Halloween 2024 is another great one. The neighborhood comes alive.

I removed the Harris / Walz sign. Halloween is apolitical.

The wizard -



Dana hands out fossils, crystals, and candy.

I assume that not this many kids are within walking distance. But it doesn't matter. We are definitely a community on nights like this:

Dana is such a cool witch in sneakers! Halloween at one time seemed to be getting a tentative foothold here but it seems to be declining again. We've never had any visitors at my house and this year was no exception. It doesn't seem right to me in spring anyway.

Gah, I realised I called Dana a witch when she was a wizard! Her hat reminded me a lot of Mickey Mouse's hat in The Sorceror's Apprentice, and looking at pictures of it I think it might be the exact same one.
