Dogs live in today so much better than we do. I see it especially with Duchess at the Ranch. She was raised as a fighting dog, maybe a bait dog. She has scars and is incredibly strong. But after a year or so at the Ranch I would have her by a baby without concern. She is so gentle and playful with people and so happy to be alive. It is heartening and a reminder for me to chill the fuck out.
