Cinco

It looks like they are going to sping Dana tomorrow.  She is MUCH better and is, for the first time, saying she wants to be home.  Until now she's been a bit fearful when thinking of being home, concerned that she isn't ready.  But she's ready now.  She is moving much better thanks to the OT and PT she got at the in patient care hospital and she's got home care in place.

They have to, apparently, get clearance from the hospital system's infectious control guru to be sure they aren't springing her on an unsuspecting world and starting a pandemic.  Like anything similar has happened before.

It will be nice to have her home.  She'll be able to do everything to take care of herself.  Maybe a little help with socks and such but the OT people are big on training self sufficiency and she needs to move.  I'm pretty sure we're just going to hang up the wheelchair.  She's using a walker so we don't need it.

That's a relief she's making good progress! And much easier for her that she wants to come home too.

That's good.
Having the wheelchair sounds like insurance for the future. All the time you have it you probably won't need it

That’s excellent news!
