I have a color inkjet printer (Brother) that is simply a wireless stand alone printer and it works fine with the Chromebook/phone/etc. BUT it is not listed as working with chromebook which I never bothered to check until I read your entry. Wild. You might expand your search to works with phone. any printer that works with phone will work with Chromebook.
