HOA deification impacting propellor

Well, the 1Gig optical install program is going to hit a wall I think.  There is an HOA meeting on the 25th and I'm already in receipt of a circular about how the communists will take over or something like that if we allow the HOA board to HOLD A VOTE THE NEXT DAY.

What fun.

I will not be at the meeting.

It is a great deal for us.  Zero up front.  Free optical cable install and modem acquisition.  Down from $80 to $55/month payment.   But everyone has to do it or no one does.  I'll show you.  I'll just opt for a worse plan.

I can't believe the HOA even tried to do this.  It will be what we used to call in the Navy a goat fuck.  Never knew what that meant but it was never good.

And I just had another thought, HOA.  I wonder how many people at the meeting on the 25th will be armed?  There is no way to keep them out or keep their guns out.

Love me some Texas.

I used to manage a portfolio of 9 HOA associations! The worst job I've ever had because of the homeowners and their agendas. NEVER again.

Sadly, most of our neighbors are idiots and crazy makers.

How many households would it cover? It's a great deal but they were never going to get everyone to go for it

Super confused about what guns or threatening to have guns has to do with an HOA meeting. Is this really that severe of a topic/are people that angry that they want to threaten violence or have a shoot-out?

Otherwise, um, hope the proposal that benefits you most is the one that goes through I guess.

I'm thankful there is not an HOA where we live. My parents' last house had an HOA that we called the "Homeowner Nazis" and yes, they really were that bad. :P

Having lived in TX and now in AL, I completely understand the gun thing.
