Health check

My hip is 99% done.  There is a little lump of internal tissue that I can feel that has not yet, but will soon, dissipate.  I've got a lovely scar halfway across my ass but in a couple of weeks I'll start using Scareaway and after a few months that will be mostly gone.  I am no longer really aware of movement, no longer aware that I should be careful and I don't really think I need to be.  Doing something like Pickleball I'll be careful of lunges toward that side for a while but that will go away.

My knee on that side is getting better.  I'm now pretty much where I was before the hip started acting up last year, a nearly 71 year old man who has all kinds of aches and pains as he should at 71.

I so much need a personal trainer, someone to work me one or two days a week.  If I could find the right one it would really help but I don't much want to pay for a gym membership.  Having said all that I just did a search for fitness for seniors near me and found a bunch of resources including one that comes to me which would benefit Dana too if only we could make room.

Alternately there are a couple of places that cater to once a week you go to them.  Once a week would work for me.  I walk and play PB and, if I were in better shape, would cycle more.  I need someone to be accountable to other than the Ranch dogs.

This will take some more thought.

Meanwhile, today is a nothing day.  Dana is coming home late this afternoon but nothing else going on for me.   Time to walk Zoe and Toby, my daily trainers.

I hear you on the accountability! It makes such a difference.
