As things deteriorate

September and so far October look like:

Smart Car Tires$358.00
Smart Car Alignment$300.00
Plumbing blockage$315.00
Water softener$567.00
Dentist$143.00
AC fix$759.00

 $2,442.00

And now our refrigerator which will be another $300+ if we're lucky.  I'm pretty sure it is exactly the same as was the AC.  The compressor takes a kick of energy to get started.  Lots of resistance.  Once it starts up it runs on basic AC but it needs a jump and that is what the capacitor does.  Battery that has a bunch of short term power juice.

I can hear the refrigerator trying to spin up the compressor but it isn't happening.  So I think it is capacitor (which should be cheaper than the one for the AC) and maybe some coolant.  Either that or a new refrigerator.

We're waiting right now for the repair guy.  We are number two on his list today which is lucky since I only contacted them yesterday.

We've blown through savings so I'll see if we need an IRA infusion after we find out what needs fixing or replacing.

Ouch to those bills. It seems once one thing goes other things follow.
I wanted to tell you i saw the surgeon today and he said things haven't deteriorated a lot since he last saw me but he can see the pain i am in. So he will have me in within the next couple of weeks. I feel very grateful. I have been thinking of your words that you wished you had not let yourself be in pain for so long and i feel the same now. So thank you for your encouragement and although we have never met you have been a great influence from across the miles. I do have to have the dreaded green stockings but that's a small price to pay to have my life back.
Are you 100% back to normal now although it is early days for you.
really.
Hope you sort out your house problems ok.
