No dental, no cry
Aug. 1st, 2024 17:48The same dental hygienist was there for me. He's kind of a goober kid but he does a good job so I don't mind the eccentricity. Of course, you've got to be a bit OCD to be a hygienist and he loves his job. I don't feel like he's over cleaning and he's one of the few EVER to compliment me, say I'm doing a good job.
I was all ready to get a crown but the husband of the husband/wife who own the practice was the one there today and he didn't seem inclined to do anything about it. Watch and wait some more. Good for me.
Turns out they sold the practice and are retiring for as long as their money lasts. So there will be a new crew next time. BUT my hygienist will be there so I don't much care. As long as he's there and they still take my insurance I'm happy. I've got a great fall back. Dana goes to a dentist office in the opposite direction. She has way more problems than I do and needs higher level care. I can always go there if this place doesn't work out.
So all is well here. Dana did not leave this morning but says she's leaving tomorrow. The funeral she's going to is Saturday so I'm thinking it is tomorrow. She has done zero packing and while I can pretty much pack in 10 minutes it is a bit more of an effort for her. My best guess is she will end up packing tomorrow and leave after noon.
I can't do it her way but she seems to love the stress of delay.
For some reason I ended up walking a lot more today with the dogs. 7500 steps or so. But we got it done and they were all happy about it.
