I just heard this noise and thought it was strange someone was moving their trash can in the rain.  Turned out to be thunder.  We're having a thunder storm in the latter days of January.  Very strange.  It is near 50 (10) degrees and now pouring rain.   Of course my automatic watering system ran its weekly watering yesterday.  Just a little waste.

One day after end of Noom I am still on a good trajectory.  A couple of days on the bike, shoulder exercises for both sides, push ups, my first plank since surgery and the daily walks Zoe makes me do have all conspired to my being healthier than I've been in a while and moving better than in a long time.  It is a hard thing to get over that exercising will not build my muscles any more.  I'm maintaining and ensuring stability and ensuring my heart is strong.  But I'm not working towards that 50 mile ride or 10 mile run or three sets of tennis or any other physical milestone.  It's an adjustment.  I'm still pushing back and occasionally run for short distances when I'm walking one of the ranch dogs but there is not a goal other than to feel good and keep the joints lubricated with activity.  And I'm doing that pretty well.

Freshly.  The meals are prepared and cooked and only need to be heated.  Different from the three other services I use.  The other difference is each meal is a single so Dana and I can have different stuff.  It makes the whole thing very much like the single meals at HEB but delivered.  And pre-cooked.  The first delivery is Friday, the 28th.  I've got 3 meals coming for each of us for a total price of $46.93.  That includes a $20 coupon.  I've got one more $20 off coupon so that gives me six or so meals to judge how they are.

HEB sells their meals at $10 per meal.  So this is actually $11 per meal.  We'll see how it works out.

Dinnerly is $6.90 per meal, cook it yourself.  Right much prep work.

Home Chef and Hello Chef are about the same at about $11.20, cook it yourself.  Right much prep work.

It is fun to have such a selection of meals from which to choose and nice to be able to select them all a month in advance and then just sit back and cook.  And at the most expensive of $11.20 or so it is still a good deal.  Protein and veggie and usually a starch.  And variety.
