Out at the Ranch today I had a good day with Trigger, Lily, Huck and one I'd never hung out with before, Job.

Job

Job is maybe 50 pounds and all black but for some new muzzle grey coming out. He is very laid back and is missing an eye. I asked and, of course, it was human abuse. A hammer to the head. He's recovering well and bears no ill will to people. I think he's been at the Ranch for less than half a year. He was brought with out of the other dogs after come kind of family murder deal down in Corpus Christi. What these dogs go through is amazing. Job and I had some good time together and I'll likely see if I can grab him some more in the future.

I now have too many dogs I want to spend time with and not enough time.

It's up near 90 now and climbing but will be short of triple digits. For today. I'm not doing anything else today but showering, washing clothes and resting.

Kindling: Adrenaline (Jeff Abbott) a book I thought I had read but if so I've forgotten most of it and it is good.

Kindle On Deck: Head On, John Scalzi ([personal profile] jo, I'll be watching for gender this time!).

I just finished my Audio book while walking the dogs and no idea what is next.
