I just got back from physical therapy and the store.  PT was excellent.  The woman who does it does not seem to be the type that would be good but she does a great job.  She hits just the right muscles in the right way and just enough to be effective without being painful.  I always feel much better after a session and annoyed that I can't do the same thing for myself at home.

On the way back I stopped at the store and bought travel sizes of a few things.  Always weird prepping for travel.

The trip is a bit different this time.  I'm not leaving until 1:33 tomorrow.  Normally I leave early and if I were driving myself and leaving the car I'd leave on the first flight.  The airport is pretty quiet first thing in the morning and the flights leave on time. And there is no traffic.  But Dana is driving me and I hate making someone else get up at 4:30 in the morning if it is not necessary.

So I've got the morning to get ready.  Since I can pack and be ready to go in under an hour it is a bit different.  No hurry when I get up, no hurry to get dressed and pack my CPAP. I need to be at the airport at 11:30 so I need to leave here at maybe 10:30.  Google will tell me when it is time.  And I can watch the airlines info to be sure the flight is running on time.  The flight originates in San Francisco tomorrow morning early.  I'll be able to track it.

President's Day has the advantage of creating a sale on my coffee from a company, Fara, in Austin.  They roast the best coffee and I buy it pretty much exclusively.  So a 20% off sale makes my day.  I bought 10 pounds of beans.  I pay less per pound than any decent coffee costs and the company supports their farmers.  So the best coffee from a local company sourced fairly.  For less.  Seems good.

Time to take the dogs out for a walk.  It is a beautiful day.

Dana gave me a gift certificate for Christmas for a pedicure.  I used it in January and loved the results.  No nail polish but nice soft feet.

With my hip/knee or whatever the hell is going on it is hard for me to reach down and do a good job on my nails so I called to see if maybe they had a slot this afternoon which they did.  I suspect I'm a regular now.  It costs about $50 including a tip and it is really worth it.  I can do with every two months so $25/month is a deal.  Vietnamese lady and her husband.  She came over when she was 17 but doesn't really like to talk about it.  Maybe one day after I've been there a while.  I'd love to hear the story especially since I was on a ship that picked up some boat people and before that I worked next one of the refugees.

I'm all checked in for my flight and my boarding pass is in my Google wallet.

Last night I finished the third season of Slow Horses.  I actually watched the first two again and then the third.  They were better than I remembered.  Gary Oldman is a treasure and he inhabits Lamb.  And, of course, Season 4 in the distance but definitely there.  Apple TV has taken my money.

Turned out I've seen Shining Girls.  I didn't remember and much have watched when it first came out.   Excellent antagonist, something so many dramatic pieces miss.  I'll likely go through it again.

Off shortly to get my second shingles shot.  Then I'll be done with shots for a while.
