When my family moved to Texas (Houston) in 1966, the entire state was a Democratic strong hold. My parents, both Republicans, had to dig deep to find a Republican primary. We were mostly a Blue state until 1994. Ann Richards was our last Democratic governor. It's been over 25 years, it's about time Texas came to its senses and the majority of Texans voices were heard.
