I've dropped about 8-10% of my starting weight and have plateaued. For nearly a month. I'm unable to exercise as much (total shoulder replacement in mid October) as I'd like and that is part of the equation. I really need to lose another 10-15 pounds (another 8% or so of my current body weight) to be at my healthiest and to be where I'd like to be.

My choices are:

1 - Go draconian on the numbers, lower my caloric intake and push past.

2 - Just keep truckin' on like I have been for nearly a month and wait for a change.

3 - Stop tracking the numbers and just feel how things should be as if I was on maintenance.

My Noom subscription runs out on 1/23 and I'm way past 304 on the lessons, deep into critical thinking, scientific method and being present. I think were I to stop the lessons now I would have gotten what I need out of it.

My intent is to shift to My Fitness Pal for all the reasons people like it better once my Noom subscription ends. At that time I'll be back on my bicycle.

This post is basically thinking aloud. I'd be doing it on Noom if there was a PC component but typing on my phone in that app is ridiculous. I won't miss that.  Of course I never did it much but if I had I wouldn't miss it.

I think taking a week or two where I stop tracking food and find my own eating equilibrium while I continue to track weight is the way to go.

That is kind of the Noom way. Not really a question there.... just thinking aloud.
