Acclimation
Jul. 29th, 2022 10:08Just came back in off a bike ride that was really not unpleasant. The wind was only a little annoying but I didn't overheat at all.

Says here it was 79% but that must have been the start. It is 85 now with 80%+ humidity and I was not at all uncomfortable. I ride with a long sleeve sun shirt and absorbent undershirt so I get pretty good wicking and all of that turns into an air conditioner when I'm moving.
My legs were surprisingly strong. The way of growing stronger muscles by breaking down tissue and growing it back stronger doesn't work quiet the same at my age but it does, apparently, still work. After my long ride on Sunday I've done little but my daily walks with Zoe and my walks with the dogs on the Ranch but my legs were really strong today. It is a nice feeling to hit a hill and not be killed by it. Now I just need to keep up the momentum.
Now I'm off to shower and rest.
