Solidly passive aggressive

I did send an email to the owner of the Dog Ranch with an attachment for how to raise the tent and no discussion about my involvement past, present or future.

Yesterday was the event for which the tent was raised.  I did not go nor did I go to the tent lowering (which was supposed to happen around 3).  

I'll go as usual on Tuesday and if anyone asks I'll just tell them I've got an appointment for my shoulder with the orthopedist (which is true) and leave it at that. 

Part of the issue is I'm a guy.  Break a leg.  Coach: "Take a lap".  I was in the Navy for a career and that is not an environment to admit to any weakness. 

And my tendency is to lean into anything that I physically can not do.  Try harder.  Find a better fulcrum.  

So it is very difficult for me to say I'm not physically up for something when I'm still 30 years old in my head (and about 10 emotionally).  I think wistfully about doing one of those adventure cross country events.  Fortunately I'm too lazy to do anything about that but in my head it is a possibility.

Anyway.  I'll see the dogs on Tuesday and explain it in detail to them.  Their opinion is the only thing that matters anyway.
