I can rest for a bit
Nov. 21st, 2022 15:18The US/Wales game is done. Disappointing tie. And (of course) they should have won. They could not keep up the tempo.
My son Matt was in a bar watching the game. He looped me and my other son Alex in a chat and Alex was watching too. Don't they have to work???? It was fun for the three of us to trade comments. Neither of them know anything about soccer nor do they usually watch. Alex could only watch the Telemundo version. He wasn't missing much. I ended up turning our volume off at one point.
I had not much planned my day after the game so I'm not sure what to do now.
We went to see Dana's brother yesterday. I'd helped him acquire a new phone which we dropped off. He is the one who is the executor of the estate I'm trying to unscrew. He has no current ID and it is possible that I will not be able to get him any. Something I'd never thought of before. His wife owns their house. He no longer has a car of valid driver's license. Essentially he has no way to prove he is a citizen of the state of Texas and I'm having a hard time getting him set up with a passport as a citizen of the U.S.
Moral of the story. Keep your ID's up even if you never intend to use them. Without a state ID he can not even get a replacement Social Security card.
So very strange.
