Late last year the Canine Ranch received an abused Pyrenees who need a place to call home. A couple of days after he got there I asked if I could show him around. His name was Hank and he had no liveness at all. He was clearly not happy but would do whatever someone pushed him towards. Turned out when someone was brushing him a few days later they found he had stitches in his side. They were removed and it healed OK but Hank was never a high energy dog.
But he was loved and brushed and talked to every day. He kind of faded the past month or so and died last week.

Hank was so calm and happy to just walk slowly around the property that one of the walkers would just drape the lead across his back and he'd walk himself.

Hank was known for his soulful eyes. The way he should be remembered.

He found a safe home at the Ranch and received a lot of love.
