I've got a list of BBQ places we need to try now. One thing about searching for something on Google is you're bound to get a bunch more of it. No different now. I did a search for Black's BBQ (https://www.blacksbbq.com/) and found it.

We went there today. It was a nice place but not my favorite BBQ. Oddly, it was a little bland and the sauce was only OK.
I mean, it was BBQ and delicious but if I'm going hunting in the area, I can be picky. It was good. Not the best. But good atmosphere. We got there at the right time. A line formed behind us out the door. Good birthday karma.
After BBQ we went to Tiny Pies. I went there once before a while back but I'd not taken Dana. It is a very small (no surprise there) store front. Just a couple of display cases and a refrigerator. But they have lots of wonderful pies and we got a handful. Here is the menu for the next few days:
Leftover BBQ
Chicken Pot Pie
Spicy King Ranch Chicken Pot Pie
Spinach Ricotta Empanada (for Dana)
One more savory Pie that is not listed on the web site (can't remember)
Cherry Crumb
Texas Two Step (Texas pecan with brownie on top)
Apple crumb
Blueberry crumb
Peach crumb
Chocolate cream
As a result of my search I found a Southern Living article with three area BBQ places I NEED to visit. Unfortunately they are pretty far south so some planning will be required.
Meanwhile I'll have to do some more searching closer in. I suspect in a couple of weeks I'll want more BBQ.
