I'm too old

Good meeting with the endocrinologist.   Exactly what I needed.  The short story is that my tests say I'm prediabetic but it takes ten years for that condition to develop into anything like diabetes.  Since I'm 70, he said not to worry about it.  Even if it happens at 80 it won't be a big deal.

So weird.  

Needless to say, I'm relieved.  The sortie into the world of diabetes control was interesting and illuminating and I'm happy I don't have to worry about it.  I already do about 80% of what they recommend so, poof, out of my mind.

I think I'll make some waffles.  With syrup, of course.  Celebrate being too old.
