The humidity is nearly 80% and the temp is now 86F.

I took the dogs for a walk earlier and made it back before it was too bad.

My car has a flashing 'D'.  Yesterday, I took it to my mech who threw his computer on it but it kicked out no codes.  The fix is to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes.  But I spent 30 minutes in this heat trying without success to disconnect the battery.  The connection is not at all accessible even if I had the deep socket that fits the nut.  So I gave up.  I've got 99000 on it now and intend to have a full workup at 1000000 so I'll just let him deal with it.  I'd love to get it wrapped again so it looks new but even doing it myself is not cheap.  On the bright side, no one is ever going to steal it.

I'm inside for the day now.  I don't need to have heat warnings to tell me that it is hot.

Dana is doing better.  The wound has a little redness which I don't like but it is not looking like it was before and the white cell count was down so I'm hopeful.  She did too much yesterday and paid for it last night.  She's got PT coming today so he'll tell her to slow down too.

I think we're over the bad stuff and any pain she has is self generated by overdoing things.  She'll be healing the cracked bone for six months or more.  Pretty much a permanent change in lifestyle.

I've got indoor projects to do too.  This time of year I'll be dividing up the early morning outdoor projects and the rest of the day indoor projects. I'm cutting down pickleball since it is the only time I can do stuff outside.
