For a person whose musical career was mostly known for his collaboration with other artists the tributes from those artists are very quiet.  I saw a documentary on CSNY by the end of which it was clear that none of the people who worked with him were interested in any further relationship.  It explains the comment deficit on his death.  It doesn't explain why the background music to the story of his death was entirely music written by Stephen Stills.

Must of been the flu they had for Christmas.  

Another one bites the dust.
