And today's animal is Irish

There's a lady who I see every now and then on our walks who has an older lab and two huge Irish Wolfhounds. I guess that's redundant. I've never seen a small Irish Wolfhound. But like Zoe and Toby (most of the time) they walk off leash and are sweet as they can be. Toby LOVES the Irish Wolfhounds and always runs up to them and is all over them. Their ankles anyway. They are very gentle with him. He's in charge. If he jumps in fear for a moment they back up and assess. So sweet. I finally remembered to get a picture of one of them who was walking today.

This is the baby of the two and it doesn't really capture the size difference. The Wolfhound's head is above my waist. The older, larger one, is about half a foot higher. Huge heads. I can't imagine these guys as attack dogs but I'd hate to be hunted by one.
Zoe kind of stands off to the side doing her nonchalance thing. I taught her to mind her own business and she's good at it. Happy to not be in the fray.

This is the lady who owns the dogs. She is having a conversation with Zoe.
I've been wallowing in tennis and pickleball. Played the latter on Friday and yesterday. My fitbit says to rest today so I've been watching the Tennis Channel stream on YouTubeTV. But I've got another set of games on Monday. It is still fun and I've lost five pounds without trying. My back is a little annoyed but it has problems since I hurt it in December whether I do too much or not enough or just right. May as well push through and enjoy myself.
We play PB in the mornings but even with that it is getting hot. I'm now drinking about a gallon of water and gatoraid to stay hydrated. I get light headed and a little nauseous if I don't get enough water. Having recently read Andre Agassi's book I drink a lot more. He has the same problem and started forcing liquids the night before and continuously the morning of a match and through the match. I'm not doing that but after drinking more than a gallon of water yesterday I did not pee until a couple of hours after getting home when I'd had another quart or two of liquid so that tells me something.
I think this was something I've had a problem with all my life while playing tennis and just ignored. Brilliant. Can't ignore things like that anymore.
