The jury is mostly in

My structural cardiologist sent a note saying that the device in my heart is seated properly and the heart is growing over it (just freakin' weirdness happening in there). The upshot is I'm to be off of Eliquis and on to Plavix with aspirin (keeps platelets from forming clots). It is a step down from Eliquis, a halfway house for a couple of months after which I shift to baby aspirin only.
Then I got a note from his nurse who responded to my request for a call on the hip surgery. Her response was that the process was they get an official request from the surgery people with info on how long I have to be off thinners and how much and what kind of anesthesia and such and then they clear me. Or not.
I think it will be OK. End of the month I've got an appointment with my primary care physician and then my cardiologist. That will be when they decide on clearing me from surgery. But I suspect they will clear me. Not much I can do about it either way.
My meeting with the endoscopy doc was a nothing deal. She asked some questions and then said I didn't need to be looked at unless they needed to shove the camera down my throat again. Since I had the CT scan and everything looks good they don't need it. So she said no need to do a procedure if I was not having a problem.
One less thing to think about.
So now we wait.
I'm about headed out the door to take the dogs for a limp (me limping, them walking). It is a nice cool morning.
This afternoon I'm off to likely purchase a replacement TV for our living room. The one we have has gotten so dim we seldom watch it. The replacement one is waiting for me at Best Buy. Same brand and an upgrade to the one I love in our bedroom. Still 55" and comes in at about $500. But, with a Best Buy credit card it is payable over 12 months at zero interest. Not much of a problem for us. The only thing I'm paying now days is mortgage.
Now to get it mounted. I've done three or four of them and it is not too hard but still a little bit of a PIA.

Date: 2024-05-04 15:03 (UTC)It was wonderful. I was as knocked out the same as an anaesthetic without any issues. I will be having the same again.I highly recommend it to you if it's an option.
