Party!

Well, our version of one anyway.  Not something we've done in way longer than a year.  One of my ex-employees is coming over this Saturday with his now fairly long term girlfriend.   I'm cooking ribs and grits and likely some salad and collard greens (the latter for them, not me).  Like a social event.  In our house.  It has been maybe two years?  I can't remember when we last had anyone over and at that I'm sure it was family.

Of course, they are vaccinated.  And smart.  And not terribly social people anyway so it is as safe as such things can be now days.

They are both pretty socially awkward so we get on well.  Always have.  

Something to look forward to.

But I do need to go to the store and get the ribs.  ASAP.
