Yesterday, Dana brought up a 2018 film, Ophelia, on Amazon.  I've not looked at the reviews as Rotten Tomatoes has a 63% rating so I suspect they are not good but I enjoyed it.  Good acting, excellent filming, and a wonderful sound track which is on Spotify and now in my favorites.  A few kind of dumb parts that I suspect the critics attacked culminate in a pointless change of ending.  The same people are dead but by different methods than Will intended and to no great effect.   Otherwise it was a fun film.

I countered today with Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, a flick I had to rent from Amazon.  In the 70's I saw it onstage somewhere.  Much of it is mind bending repartee that did not translate well to the movie.  That and it has not aged well.  Or I've aged too much.  The second half was better than the first.  Everyone died as they should have and the acting was excellent.  Richard Dreyfus was particularly good in it.  I'd see it live again.

So we are cultured by association with Hamlet having only seed a few intersecting scenes.

Dana is pulling out all the Christmas stuff for inside.  I put up some lights outside.  I'm pretty much done, I think.  She's going to do more.

We don't have anyone coming over other than my therapist but we may as well haul out the stuff from storage since I'm not allowed to toss it.
