The way we roll in Texas
Mar. 22nd, 2022 08:08It appears that no one was killed while a number of tornados touched down about 10 miles east of us. It is that time of year. When we get something like that coming we get all kinds of warnings via phone, TV, and Alexa. And probably Google too but that speaker is in the garage so we don't hear it.
Before Disney changed things the places like Six Flags sold tickets. For the little rides you might buy a 'D' ticket. For the bigger ones an 'E' ticket. The biggest rides were called double 'E' rides. All of my life I've referred to the most interesting physical experiences as 'Double E' rides'. No one ever knows what the hell I'm talking about but nothing new there.
This guy went on a double 'E' ride. The truck company should pay him to use the footage in a commercial. (as an aside, the guy shooting the video not only kept going into a small tornado, he apparently took off his seat belt... they build them tough but not necessarily smart in Texas).
I love my Smart Car but it stays parked in the garage on days like yesterday.
