Three dog days
Mar. 6th, 2023 17:20The Ranch is doing spring cleaning which means everything out of the building and all washed down. I went over and helped out for a couple of hours today but they still had a long ways to go when I left. My regular day is tomorrow. The Ranch is doing the other building (the big dog building) on Wednesday but Dana has a nerve burn and I'm her driver so I won't be helping then. But I'm back on Thursday for my regular day. Lots of dogs this week. I walked a few dogs then went and hung out with Khaliesi for half an hour or so. She is so happy to have a lap to sit on. Cutest pit bull I know.

After coming back home I cooked up all the bacon (it was going bad) in the oven freezing most of it but making three breakfast tacos. I ate two of them then took a nap.
Then I fixed the light rope in our back yard. It had shorted out and had to have the power end replaced. Turned out to be a fairly easy fix once I figured it out. Resealed the junction box and all is well.
I've been watching the Netflix special 'Break Point' which grabs selected stories from last year's tennis season. It is pretty good and did jazz me up to see more tennis. The cost of the Tennis Channel is $110 a year. Not a huge amount but I thought that rather than just buy it I'd earn it. So I'm working Prolific until I collect 91 pounds sterling and then I'll get the annual subscription. Better than feeling guilty and I'll have it in time to catch some of the clay court workups and, of course, all of the French Open.
