I'd never used the site Freecycle until today. Our 55" TV is gone, picked up by a woman who carried it to the SUV herself (after Dana and I dragged it to the front porch). It is not a perfect TV. It is a little dark but it works 100% and now someone has it who hopefully needs it. Or they are just going to sell it on Ebay. Hopefully the former. Maybe she's got kids and it is going into their room. I like my version better than Ebay but neither one involves me further. The trash people come tomorrow and will pick up most of the rest of the detritus. I think we'll have a bit more Styrofoam than we can cram in the garbage but it will go next week.

And I need to fix the cords better.

But all is done.

Except for paying for it. Minor detail.

The first dog I walked at the Ranch was Shadow. That was December of 2021. I took her picture:

She was a strong walker who could go forever. I was able to keep up with her at that time and we did some steps.

I walked her again for the first time in a while today:

I'm pretty sure she could have walked a lot further than me but she is has lost weight and is much quieter. I think she's on her way out. One of two that are aging out of the picture. The other is Petunia, the great dane.

But Shadow and I had some time today and she was happy and grateful to be out in the morning air.

Just got through with a $10 Prolific study that was fairly interesting. Easy to do. I cashed out $27 yesterday and am already back up to $22 with a few more I'll do this afternoon.

I got a weird question on the About page. It asked: How many hours would you be willing to work on Prolific on average per week?
I don't remember seeing that question before but I said 6-10. At the rate I've been getting decent studies that would net some OK money. Worth the time. I started putting the money straight into 4.3% savings account so better yet. I'm trying to get that general savings (no goal, just slush for emergencies) up to where it should be with as many months coverage as I can do. I'm only up to about 80% of one month but it is rapidly growing.
