It is drizzly here.  Which is wonderful for all.  Toby doesn't like going out in the rain so I have to really coax him into it (he has a huge bladder for such a small dog).  With Dana out of town he's not so easy to coax.  It is easy for her since he hates to have her out of his sight.  Ever.

Zoe doesn't much care.

The Ranch dogs were happy to get out rain or no rain.  There were four walkers today so I left after an hour and a half once all the dogs had been walked.  They were all happy dogs.

And I walked around listening to a couple of conservative anti-Trump podcasts analyzing the current events.  It is pretty amazing that things are happening so quickly the daily podcasts seem dated.  So much going on and so much of it positive for a change.  I listened to The Bulwark (old school conservative site set up to combat Trump) with James Carville (the 'It's the economy, stupid' Clinton campaign manager) and he's wild as always and full of beans.  So fun to hear him talk about what's going on.  Most of the dem insiders talk to him so he's got some stuff to say.

I'm one of the ones who donated to ActBlue effectively voting with my $10/month, $50 pledge.

My day is pretty much done now.  Washing and finishing Mayor of Kingstown.

The MoK is a Taylor Sheridan thing and I'm kind of over it but need to finish.  I love Jeremy Renner both as a person and as an actor and 90% of the show is him answering his phone, jumping in his car, and laying down the law with someone.  Then answering the phone and jumping back in his car again.

Someone called The Walking Dead 'Misery Porn'.  So many of the shows (American Rust, MoK, Yellowstone, et al) are just that.  There is little resolution but a lot of just one damn thing after another.   Art is about conflict and, to his credit, Sheridan's stuff does occasionally have a moment that is golden and not just dumping bodies over the Wyoming state line.  The problem is that the series doesn't stop so the conflicts need to be relentless and increasingly dramatic.  I'm a fan of limited series (think of Le Carre's brilliantly brought to series "The Night Manager").  I want an arc and a story resolution, not just another damn thing.

"The Wire" kind of nailed it by rolling up the seasons to an ending and then starting over from an entirely different perspective for the next season.  Others should take heed.

Meantime I'll do with Renner and his group.
