Pickleball and politics
Nov. 6th, 2024 11:35Not once during the run up to the election did I hear a word for or against any candidate in any of the pickleball groups. Politics was off limits.
So I was completely unaware of where anyone stood, who they backed.
Today, it turns out that all the people I like and respect the most are similarly depressed. They are all pro-Harris. One who is this really nice, quiet woman in her 60's was serving well today and I told her so. She said she was hitting the 'orange' ball as hard as she could and it was making her feel better. The balls, in our case, are all yellow but I understood.
Also, I'm making a bunch of money on Prolific today with follow up surveys. I've made probably $20 since returning from PB.
Small silver linings.
