Zoe graduation
Nov. 14th, 2024 14:34Pix are back from Zoe's drug trial graduation. The report of her physical is back too and she is doing well. At 14 she's doing at least as well as she was at 12 and in some ways better. It is kind of nice to have thorough reports from every six months for the past three years.
They got her a graduation cap. The left two are both doctors. The right two are students.

We went outside for a group shot but the shade made is a bit difficult to see:

Such a sweet group doing some really good research.
If Zoe looks a bit zonked in the pictures it is because she is. She does some downers for each visit and is a lot happier about it.
Today was a nice cool morning at the Ranch. I was not the only dog walker there but the other guy that showed up didn't do much. It is sometimes a bit challenging not to judge, not to worry, wonder, try to fix or any of the other things that I MUST DO. My job is to walk the dogs. The rest of the world swirling around in my brain is secondary or less.
I found out about the three younger dogs that came in a couple of weeks ago.

Bear on the left, Tigger on the right. And Skyla:

It is kind of a good news/bad news/good news story. The woman who owned the three dogs (way too old to be owning three dogs this young, btw) went to an event and had them chipped by the Living Grace Canine Ranch. When the Ranch does that the chip info goes back to them.
The woman died which left the dogs to her son. Son gave them to a friend. Friend dumped them in a cemetery and they where found there. These three are very sweet and young and playful. The sheriff department checked the chips and contacted the Ranch. The dogs were brought there. Apparently son called to say he wanted them back and was told NO.
I really don't know what is going to happen to them. Someone will take them. They are too young to stay at the Ranch forever. But they are safe, and comfortable, and cared for unless/until they move on.
