Chilly day
Mar. 9th, 2025 14:02It is in the mid 50s now but was in the low 40s this AM. Once again I did not realize, or really care, that the time was changing. We have four clocks plus two cars that need to be changed. All but the cars are done. But I woke up this morning and thought it was a bit dark for being 6:30.
Zero effect on me otherwise.
I've got nothing on the schedule today. We had a couple of boards in the bed that had fallen out (Dana says we still got it) so I took the opportunity of changing the sheets to flip up mattress and box springs and fix that. And vacuum under the bed. Dana uses it as storage (no horizontal space goes unused) so there is no way to vacuum under it unless that stuff is moved out. With the bed out of the way I could do that. It was a PIA but very satisfying operation. Mattress rotated too.
Now I'm watching Battlestar Galactica and cutting away when a worthwhile Prolific study comes by. I've been doing pretty well with Prolific and am now dumping any cash from it into my Schwab investment account to make up for the Trump stock marketdividend crash. So glad we have a successful frequently bankrupted businessman in charge now.
I bought a new Pickleball Paddle. I'm sure that the original ones were not much more than planks of plywood. Now they are scientifically measured and tweaked to meet your specific style of play. I'll see tomorrow morning if it makes any difference. The paddle I've been using is a couple of years old now and is really over the hill. So it is time. I get a lot out of PB so I don't mind spending the money. Cheaper than tennis anyway.
