Married again and Zoe

Dana returned home yesterday.  Sooner than I expected but for no particular reason.  I think she just finished what she intended to do and missed the quiet here.  So we are four again.

Tomorrow is Zoe's redo at Texas A&M.  Nice thing about Dana returning is the car situation is covered.  Much as I love my Smart Car it is not a great one for driving four hours in one day.  No cruise control and this drive was made for cruise control being mostly on state roads with no traffic and straight runs for miles.  I actually did a quick look at possibly renting a car today for a return late tomorrow.  I could have done it for under $70 but about the time I had to decide I got the text from Dana so NVM.  I've got the Rav 4 and books on audio and books on Kindle.  So I'll drop her off and kill a couple of hours again and then the return trip.

Zoe will be zonked on her Xanex which will be OK.  Less stressful for her.  Like her predecessor, the sainted Dylan, she does not drive well.  She's up and down all the time never really resting or sleeping.  Not sure if the seat is just not comfortable or she can't stand to miss what is going by or what.  I might try to install her in the back with a big blanket.  I don't think she will stay.  She'll want to be looking out the windows up front with me.

But it is a 6AM departure in the morning.  That and the two hour each way drive is kind of a PIA but it will be, at worst, a once a year trip so I'll live with it.  That assumes she passes her physical.  If not the we won't have to do it again.
