Noom and Covid
Dec. 30th, 2021 12:53My end of month chart:

Not exactly a steep slope but it demonstrates a lifestyle change, not a diet. I'm now below 210 after having been stuck a couple or three pounds above it for a couple of frustrating weeks. I'm no longer logging food unless/until I gain weight and hit 212 again. But I've got a log in my head and still pay attention to the Noom way of looking at things. I still do the lessons which are now as much about the Buddhist way of intent and presence and the middle way as anything. So much of psychology is Buddhist based (or vice versa) anyway. Experience based logical thinking. It is kind of home base for me so the lessons are more reminders for me.
On the Covid front, I'm fine. Dana is fine. We're attempting to stay that way. We both mask up when around other people and other than forays into HEB I don't much other people anyway. I do have some dog work to do this afternoon but no people within 6 or 8 feet and very good ventilation when I go inside to swap out dogs.
BUT my monthly meeting group is a group of Covid positive people. They are all three social and Christmasy and family types. There are three besides me. The two with whom I've been in communication have tested positive in their families since Christmas (surprise!!!). They are all vaccinated and healthy so will likely be OK. We had our monthly get together scheduled for next Thursday. I found out they had tested positive when I emailed saying that I was not going to a restaurant next week.
Texas will be at a peak in probably two weeks. Maybe we'll be able to meet in February but more likely March. Unless Dana and I get infected before then.
Dana and I have reservations in Port Aransas for mid February so the worst of this better be over by then.
