I'm making the same move you made yesterday. Just to torture myself, I thought I'd first try Apple Music. JesusHCrhist. I managed to move everything over but it would not play at all with my Sonos speakers. I guess apple has its own speaker system. So I'm moving the tunes from Spotify to Amazon as I write this. If it plays well with Sonos, I"m good.
Yeah, I don't know Apple stuff at all. Long ago I decided I didn't want to know. People (including my son) who love it really do love it. But it is proprietary in all kinds of weird ways.
The other funny issue that I've got w/ Amazon is sharing with my wife. She plays stuff on Alexa while getting ready in the morning so my most played songs are from Pink Floyd and Dionne Warwick. Schizophrenic Echo.
