I've got this playing in the background, a link I picked up in an email and I'm happy to have done. It is lovely music.
It was freezing this morning but is warming up to a tolerable, nearly ridable, temp in a couple of hours and then over the next 10 days looks increasingly like spring.
Time to look at my emergency provisions, rotate the stock and put the sweaters back in the attic. I think we're done with winter. There will be the usual gasp around Easter but I believe the snow and freeze hazard has passed.
Of course I thought Russia would not invade Ukraine so my predictions are pretty useless. We'll probably have a blizzard next week.
I'm going to empty out my closet shelf, get rid of the junk there, and dedicate the shelf to the emergency provisions so that the floor of my closet is not filled with them. It is a focused, single effort if I do it right. I can put the stuff that expires in a reachable place and the rest in the back with an inventory somewhere accessible.
I crave simplicity and order and am willing to spend some time to beat back the entropy that continuously threatens my living space. The space is small and Zoe is my the only tenant and it is still a challenge.
I've got a lovely, empty, schedule this week with Dog Ranch on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and put the trash cans at the curb on Friday. Just the way I like it.
Watching: Second season of 'Traces' on BritBox
Listening to: 'Conviction'
Basically following in my sister's footsteps
Also reading 'Leviathan Falls' still and listening to 'The Places That Scare You' by Pema Chödrön.
