Really is just a cold

bill_schubertI was a little bit anxious last night. CPAPs and sickness don't do well together and my congestion kicked up so I wasn't breathing well. But it was only normal congestion associated with a cold. That and apparently I'm still freakin' old so EVERYTHING is a big deal.
This morning I feel much better. Still congested and full of Muscinex and a little druggy but I started taking the drugs before my chest decided to kick off the coughing phase so I'm ahead of the curve so far.
I well remember the days when I smoked and would be sick with a cough for two or three weeks, one of the many things I don't miss about smoking.
Our garbage disposal decided to give up the ghost and I don't have the energy to tackle it. I'd been contemplating doing it myself. It is a one for one swap that is only difficult as you have to do it on your stomach and mostly upside down. I've got no energy for that kind of thing and can't wait until I do.
This morning I left a message for the plumbing company who worked on the house originally. It is a big one and this is a simple job so I'm hoping they can just give it to one of their newbees and do it quickly.
I've actually got a few things going on this week. We have Toby and Zoe flu booster shot day on Tuesday and I've got a dermatologist appointment for my twice a year skin check on Wednesday. And I've got a meeting scheduled to work with one of the Kind Pool company partners to get going on the web site.
And a little more world cup. Not sure who I'm following now but the pressure is off now the US is out.
