bill_schubertIf she could whine like a little kid, she would. She wants me to go for our usual walk and doesn't accept my explanation of why we can't. I'm still in the do not do anything phase of back healing. The increments that are measurements of my healing are much smaller than I'd like. I guess anything other than 'I can't move at all' is good but Zoe and I would like to be able to walk more. Of course, cold as it is, I'd not be too thrilled about walking anyway so it is a good time to be recovering.
Tomorrow it will be up near 50 degrees and Monday up near 60. By Thursday it is approaching 70. I'll enjoy the warmth as will my gas heating bill and everyone will enjoy the walks.
In that vein I elected to have HEB do my shopping today. I'm headed, in about an hour, to pick up what I ordered yesterday. Their shopping is free and they take care of their employees so no need to feel bad for not tipping. Then we'll walk up to the local mini-park.
Other than that I've been cleaning some (keyboard, desk, and bathroom sink and that may be the highlight of my day. Much as I'd like to do other things I'm constrained by my back. I think the less I do, the better off I am. Arrgh.
