Still getting stable

bill_schubertI slept 10 hours last night. I still don't feel like I've caught up. But with nothing to do today I'll R & R some more.
We went to dinner with Dana's brother and his wife last night. It was fine. They are easy company. He used to be an acerbic ass but, as with many of us, the edge has been removed by age. And he's getting a little senile. He's a year or so younger than me and physically but mentally much older. They will be in town until next Tuesday but are mostly Dana's lookout. We'll likely have them over for dinner one evening. They don't need much and are happy to be helped through things.
I'm kind of ready for some boring for a while. Between the Tuesday and Thursday dogs, books I need to finish, and pickleball on Friday my schedule is jam packed.
