I discovered dryer balls a few years ago. Never having liked the smell of dryer sheets I somehow managed to get by without them. But then I discovered dryer balls and my clothes had the advantage of softening in the dryer without chemicals. I bought three and we were always having to chase down one or two that got caught up in something. Somewhere I read that six or more were even more effective so when we finally lost track of one of the three (it is, no doubt, on the run with my sock) I bought a bag o' sheep from New Zealand!!

I've not put them to work yet but have clothes in the washer now so the sheep will be working shortly.

Tomorrow is pickleball. I was on the waiting list with our group but someone dropped out so I'm not playing. Hopefully it will not rain. In a couple of weeks I'm getting a new paddle made by a company called Bird. It is actually a pretty nice one and is a pre-order while they are producing them for the first time. Mine will be a numbered first run and if it works as advertised it should help me a bunch. Hopefully I won't screw things up by getting too serious about it but I am looking forward to some higher level equipment.

We have flood warnings for the weekend and the weather is going to be cooler (it is over 90 right now). Something to look forward to. I've got nothing to do that requires me to be outside so let it rain.

I hope your sheep prove as effective as they are adorable. Thanks for keeping our economy above water.

Damn, I wish my dryer balls had sheep on them!
I rarely use mine though as we have a washer dryer so it just moves from washing to drying without me getting involved but they are great when I wash my puffy coats for fluffing them up again

We only use the dryer in winter for towels so it makes sense to have a combination machine. My favourite part is the little tune it plays when it is done

The dryer ball sheep are very cute!

We use dryer balls, too, since with my husband's asthma we can't have anything scented. One of ours recently went AWOL, so I might need to invest in some sheep . . . :)

I didn't realize 6 were more effective! I've been using them for a while too (though yours are much cuter than mine) and I usually put 3 in there. But yes, always trying to find the ones that have wrapped themselves tidily in something.
