Georgetown on the bleeding edge

A new community being printed in Georgetown. I tried to get in to see it but right now it is for construction vehicles only. But you can see it from the outside. So strange. But intriguing:

well, that's 20 minutes i'll never get back! fascinating. it all looks so peaceful and quiet and pretty until you realize all those bedrooms mean rugrats everywhere.

That's pretty cool! I heard something on the BBC World Service about how they're using 3D printing in Ukraine to quickly rebuild critical buildings. It's about time technology got more involved in the construction business - it's crazy seeing people working on construction sites more or less like mediaeval peasants.
