For years I've had a ball cap with a Human Rights equals sign logo on it. I actually lost one in Seattle once and stole my wife's (who never wears a ball cap) so that is the one I now have. It is thick material which makes it great in the winter but not so good for Pickleball. Recently I bought a light nylon cap that is perfect for Pickleball. It was a slick. Tan with no logo at all. I fixed that:



It is an iron on which I did use a little just to get it started. Then I sewed around the border so that it won't come off. It came out better than I'd hoped.

Living in a state where of the four people ahead of me in line at the store probably two of them will vote for Trump I feel like I need to resist.

If I could only embroider the motto: 'Straight but not narrow' on the back band I'd wear it all the time.

My other project will be done Saturday when I mount the hardware. But my creation is done:




I had to add the turnbuckle to provide more resistance to holding the gate posts together. But I think I've got it. Just need to get out there, mount the thing, and fix the latching hardware and we'll be in business.

I'd do it tomorrow but I've got Pickleball.

nice hat work! i saw my first trump hat yesterday in the press club at the ball park. it actually kind of freaked me out. he wasn't a regular, thankgod
