So nice to be back at the Dog ranch. It was a wonderful, cool day and I got to see all my friends.
Here are a couple of new pix:

I got to the sanctuary and found a couple of signs on the dog apartments. No walking Billy and no walking Khaleesi. Billy had apparently bitten a couple of people in the last week. He gets really cranky on the return to his apartment when he has to go by other dogs. He gets spun up and then just kind of lashes out at whoever is around. He doesn't mean it. He's bitten me in the same way. Not the only dog that has bitten me there. I talked the building boss into letting me take him out. He was same as always with me. We had a great walk and I got him back without incident. He's just a cranky old man. We understand each other.

Peaches is just the opposite. All tail wagging 25 pounds of her. She's a sweetheart but does not like other dogs much. She was fostered by a family but somehow the never tested her with their other dog. Didn't work out. So she's back. I think she's pretty happy anyway. Lots of attention.
This is just a great picture of Bella:

She looks so cranky but I'm probably holding out a treat until she gets a picture. Kind of like Churchill's cigar story.
She looks dangerous but will lick your face clean in the blink of an eye. Sweetheart.
It also turns out that Khaleesi came up limping a couple of days ago. She previously tore her ACL (pitbulls don't know how to slow down) and it took a long time to heal. Fortunately this time it looks like she's OK but maybe just slept on her leg funny. But she was not allowed out to walk today. I got in her apartment and sat with her for a while today. We're buds.
