Yeah, I kept hearing 'GPU' with the AI discussion and finally looked it up. I understand it a bit but not enough to explain it. GPUs are more focused and designed for specific type of processing. CPUs are anomalous to PCs, general usage. It is all truly amazing. And I think we're talking just a couple of years before they get the training down.
The amazing thing about Teslas that will be true with automated cars is that one car will have an accident and the learning from that car will be deployed almost in real time to every other car with the same software. So the learning curve will be incredibly steep. In theory.
