I did get to walk the dogs at the Ranch but we couldn't go much anywhere. It was lots of mud. They are trying to set up some french drains and have gotten to the trench digging portion so there is some heavy duty mud around. We are constrained to the front part of the ranch and the road. Nowhere to let them off leash. So it was lots of pulling since they didn't get to burn off any of the build up energy. I walked one I'd not walked before. Lacy:

She's a pretty brindle mutt of some kind. About 70 or so pounds. Sweet enough but not my best friend:

Quite the nose, though.

Speaking of best friends, Khaleesi and I took advantage of a room they have set up with a couch so we can have some normal time inside and off leash. Khaleesi figured it out:

She loved to run around the room and crash into the couch next to me.

And, of course, demo her photogenic look:

My knee was not happy with me, all the walking without much rest. I've got a brace coming today and PT tomorrow so maybe we'll get this going right. I'd love to find a personal trainer who was reasonable and could help me motivate and get the strength training I need. I could obviously do it myself but...

And in that "but" lies the entire PT industry. The trouble with PTs is finding one who is skilled at working with people with specific conditions. Most of them are only good for people who are 20 and in perfect health.
