I’m with you on the pork chops and grits. I have never tried fried okra. I am slowly developing a taste for it, but mostly in stews so far.

I don't like many vegetables so I find ways that I can cook the ones I do like. I make a good stewed tomato and okra dish and they have frozen, breaded okra that makes frying it easy so we have that every now and then. I've gotten the system down (with Crisco) so it is pretty easy to make.
