I'm in the hospital pipeline now, clearly on their radar (maximizing metaphors).

Yesterday I was tested for MRSA, something they now test for, fortunately. I guess people bring it with them. Just got the results and I'm negative. Good to know.

Today I got the call with more instructions about what to take, what not to take, what to wear, what not to wear, when I'm going in, when they'll let me know what's going on. It seems like every time they call there is a new anomaly, something missing from my record or something there that shouldn't be. I'm usually glad they called.

Tomorrow I see the Ortho nurse who will go over the same thing as we went over today and the same thing I've gotten in writing already. But, abundance of caution.

Then I meet the Ortho Doc. I worked with his PA a few times before and he's gone now as of last month. I've never met the Doc. So that will be interesting.

Next is notification next Tuesday of the time to report on Wednesday morning.

Otherwise it is just waiting.

I'll likely go to the Ranch next Tuesday. I'm not able to do much but the dogs appreciate any attention they can get.

The dogs will miss you post op but will have the "New Bill" to do lovely things with in no time at all.
