Creepy coda

bill_schubertI don't much pay attention to my voice mail on my phone. It is invariably a VM that was created before I answered as part of the screening process or a VM from the CPAP suppliers who want to resupply me every two weeks. Blocked numbers don't ring but they do save the messages, an annoyance that I don't know how to change.
Every now and then I actually notice that I've got a VM. This morning I had two. One was from Aerocare, my stalker CPAP supplier. The second was creepy.
It sounds, in the recording, as creepy as it reads. "I know where you live, Bill".
OK, if I were Jennifer Anniston, I'd head down to the cobweb covered dark basement. Just because there is still an hour and a half left in the movie and something has to happen.
The guy left this Friday afternoon when he was still pissed at my attitude of wanting to protect his dog. So it was an impulsive and childish act. Let it go.
Or
This is a veiled threat and the guy is going to be on simmer until he decides he needs to do something, get back at me.
Or
I'm way over reacting after having watched years of DRAMA on TV.
Or
I need to call the sheriff and add this to the case that he opened.
Got to love how this turned out.
